For information and personal tracking
UnBald, operated by ANVOG LLC, is an educational hairline and routine-tracking app. It does not diagnose a condition, prescribe or recommend treatment, provide a medical consultation, or replace examination by a qualified healthcare professional. Using UnBald does not create a clinician–patient relationship. No clinician reviews your results as part of the automated scan.
What a Norwood estimate can and cannot tell you
The Norwood scale describes patterns of hair loss; it does not establish their cause. A photo-based stage cannot distinguish all causes of thinning or assess your full medical history. A low stage or reassuring result does not rule out a condition. A higher stage does not mean you need a particular medicine or procedure.
AI may misread hairlines, miss areas, or produce incorrect text or markings. Hair style, length, curl, skin tone, lighting, angle, moisture, products, and image quality can influence the output. A confidence percentage is an algorithmic indicator, not a clinically validated probability that the estimate is correct.
Marked photos, 3D views, and future outlooks
Purple outlines and other generated markings are illustrative. Image generation can unintentionally change details, so compare with the original photo. Markings are not anatomical measurements, graft counts, transplant designs, or surgical plans.
The 3D head and future views are illustrations based on app assumptions and available inputs. They are not a photograph of your future appearance or an individualized prognosis. Population comparisons, timelines, and treatment scenarios do not establish how your own hair loss will progress or respond to care.
Progress and care reminders
Changes between scans can reflect differences in photography rather than biological change. Repeated scans are not a substitute for clinical follow-up and cannot prove that a treatment is working.
Care check-ins and streaks record what you log, not hair growth, treatment safety, or effectiveness. References to minoxidil, finasteride, scalp care, or other routines are for recording an existing plan. Follow the instructions agreed with your clinician and the medicine’s labeling. Do not start, stop, change a dose, or combine treatments because of an app result. Notifications may be delayed or fail; do not rely on them as your only medication reminder.
When to seek professional help
Discuss concerns, unexpected changes, or treatment questions with a dermatologist or other qualified clinician. Seek medical assessment for sudden or patchy loss, pain, inflammation, sores, or other concerning symptoms rather than relying on an app scan. For a suspected emergency or serious reaction, contact local emergency services. UnBald is not an emergency service and does not monitor your health.
